Unlike conventional sockets where terminals are embedded in resin housings, Seiken offers the option of metal housings in high-current regions—such as around emitter electrodes. This innovation effectively dissipates both heat and current, minimizing terminal degradation (e.g., load loss) and extending socket lifespan. Additionally, we can customize socket designs to allow for individual signal extraction for emitter and gate terminals, even when dealing with complex peripheral electrode layouts.

General Specifications
Standard terminals are typically mounted in resin housings. However, for emitter electrodes that require high current, metal housings can be used instead. This enhances current handling and heat dissipation, reducing the risk of terminal degradation, such as reduced spring force. Additionally, configurations that separate signal extraction from the emitter and gate terminals are available, enabling flexible electrode design.
